Meet Sarah

I help athletes optimize their cognitive function and develop superior mental abilities as athletes and high performers. Through mindset work, focus and mental skills training, reflection, addressing subconscious beliefs, and enhancing positive-self talk, athletes will boost not only their performance but also their feelings of fulfillment and overall wellness and stress reduction in their question in sports.

    Mental Performance Coaching

    Through a collaborative self-assessment and goal-setting process, we’ll identify what’s getting in your way and where you want to go. From there, we build a personalized mental performance toolkit — with strategies like mental preparation, visualization, breathwork, focus training, and reflective work to uncover limiting beliefs. You’ll strengthen your self-talk, boost confidence and self-efficacy, manage performance anxiety, and tap into flow states more consistently. The goal? Greater mental clarity, emotional steadiness, and the ability to perform with calm, confidence, and control.

My work is strength-based, and influenced  by and rooted in multiple modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Intersectional Feminist Therapy.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Sarah Swanger

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and mental performance coach with a deep passion for helping people thrive under pressure. A lifelong competitive athlete and performer, I grew up immersed in sports—from track and field to cross country, tennis, volleyball, and basketball—and have coached both teams and individuals to reach their full potential. I also bring years of rigorous musical and theatrical training to my work, giving me a unique perspective on the mental demands of high-stakes performance.
